That ladies and gents is what is called a mini binge. I say a mini binge cause I stopped at 3 donuts, a shot of gin, a bag of chips I added the salad for balance. I suppose it could be worse I could have 'stressed shopped' the last time I did that is cost me $7500.

Fear, propelled me forward, it pushed and drove me. It was my fuel, it was my comfort. I sat with fear for far too long. I lived with fear until fear betrayed me. Fear cheated me, it stopped me, it held me in a suspended state. FEAR robbed me of my creativity, of love, of trust and of happiness.
Fear no longer holds me captive; Fear no longer has the hold it once held over me.
I no longer accept Fear as my fuel, as my comfort, as my friend.
Bu Bye Fear.... Bu Bye Fear.
Welcome to Iva Jewell!!!
Arrived in Nicaragua... ate dinner... saw the city and all the sites...hung out, rum food then some sleep...flew to Big Corn Island.. took a boat to Little Corn Island. We're staying in a hostel, traveling partners didn't tell me it was a hostel, yippie bunk beds and bug, flying big bugs. And a stranger in the room, not yippie. Perhaps I am too old for this. Off to Beach Bungalow lost again, this is getting old, an hour later still lost. So many big flying bugs that want to meet me, I'm playing hard to get. Wondering around this island like the lost tribes of Israel. Water... run towards the water. People, there are people...Georgina and Jose owners of My Dream Place, beer, new friends and homemade Coconut bread ordered pickup scheduled.
Finally at Beach Bungalow....Pina Colada yummy I mean really yummy. Look a parrot, seems friendly enough, I was wrong not so friendly. Cousin bite on the face, damn funny. It's dark we are lost and its dark... really really dark. We may die I'm sure of it.... iphone doubles as a flashlight... still lost. Finally back at the hostel 1 hour later, tried sweating hungry. Stupid beautiful island.
Day 2, lost again
Slept in, its 8am and its hot....really hot tropical hot. Off to the other side of the island fancy resort, the beach, the beach bar and sea kayaking. A piece of advice, don't go sea kayaking for the first time in the Caribbean Ocean with another person that has never gone sea kayaking. After being rescued from sea kayaking off to dinner. This island is small and we manage to lost again. Finally the hostel, they have NO FOOD, they ran out of gas for the stove. Really.....really... the hangries set in. Oh nevermind I'm too tried to care. Glad to see those bunk beds sleep, rest need strength to get lost again.
Day 3, you guessed it, lost ... again
Yoga, the teacher doesn't seem to know his left from his right, making yoga harder than it should be. Gone fishing in the Caribbean Ocean. Fishing in the ocean with string and bait. I caught a fish a big fish...oh no I'm seasick.... rally sea sick. When will this fishing trip end please be soon.... still sick so sick.
Land!!! We are back on land. Another Pina Colada the cure for seasickness. No parrot probably a good thing. Let's explore the island in by light... oh good we are lost again....seriously this is getting really old. Still daylight and we made it back to the hostel. Coconut bread made and delivered, yummy bread. I need a shower and sleep I need sleep.
Back on the mainland, dinner sleep and home.
Glad to be home. Glad I went. Glad I have wonderful friends. Glad I have family.
Someone should have told me...
That everyday I must work on being mindful, grateful and humble.
Someone should have told me...
that happiness is not automatic, you must work at it everyday, don't take it for granted happiness is not guaranteed.
Someone should have told me that happiness is work, the best kind of work you can do.
It starts with tape, burlap and paint
the stylist hard at work...
the finished product pictures...
I challenged myself to make a tote bag big enough to take to the beach.
